In order to minimise waiting time, it is advisable to make an appointment. This helps us to run smoothly throughout the day. Your examination also may require special preparation.
We accept walk-in patients daily, however, this depends on the day, our work load and no guarantee can be given on how long the wait will be before you are seen.
If you believe your examination to be urgent, we will attempt to fit you in ASAP.
Before your Examination
Please bring the following to your appointment:
Request Form
and if applicable:
Medicare Card
DVA Card
Pension/HCC
Insurance Approval Letter (if worker's compensation)
Upon Arrival
You may be asked to fill in a form, as some procedures require consent. Once registration is complete, you will be asked to sit in the appropriate waiting area. The technicians will be made aware of your arrival and your name will be called once your room has been prepared.
Once your scan/procedure has been completed, a secretary will inform you of when your results will be ready for collection/delivery. Please make an appointment with your doctor to discuss the findings.
The general report turnover time is 2 hours (some examination up to 48 hours). Delivery to your doctor is a next-day service.

Worker's Compensation
If your examination is under workcover, please make sure you have informed your employer about your workplace injury. If your doctor refers you for diagnostic imaging, the request form must be provided to the insurance company for approval. Once your case manager deems the examination necessary to your care, a formal approval letter will be issued.
