The Cross Radiology is taking measures to ensure the safety of our patients and staff amidst this difficult time.
Please note that we are open during regular business hours and offering all services.
To combat the spread of COVID-19, we are regularly disinfecting all surfaces in the premises, practicing social distancing, as well we ensuring a minimal number of patients are present in the practice at one given time.
Please carefully read the precautions and new rules we are enforcing until further notice before attending our practice.
As of 21 June 2021, face masks are mandatory for all patients and accompaniment as social distancing protocols cannot be followed during studies. All staff members will be wearing masks to protect our patients. If you have a medical exemption, this must be provided to administration but does not guarantee we can provide our services to you. Furthermore, patients with an exemption must have a COVID test before attending our practice and must provide a negative result.
To minimise a congestion of patients in our waiting areas, we require appointments for all CTs, Ultrasounds and interventional procedures. We will try our best to accomodate walk-in patients on a case-by-case basis.
Please arrive 10 minutes before your appointment time for registration. If you know you may be late for your appointment, please call us to let us know. If you are late for your appointment without notice, we may reschedule your appointment to ensure correct workflow and social distancing measures. We require time to sanitise each room between patients, thus we may not be able to do your examination if you miss your scheduled time.
For the safety of our patients and staff, we are taking measures to aid social distancing.
As such, ONLY PATIENTS will be able to enter our practice, with the following exceptions:
- Patients who require assistance (mobility, language, etc.)
- Patients who are children (under 16 years old)
- Patients having obstetric scans.
These patients may be accompanied by one additional person. Any individuals who do not fall into these categories will be asked to leave our premises.
By entering our premises, you give us the authority to measure your body temperature.
Your temperature will be recorded using the MedeScan Thermometer pointed at your right temple. You will not be touched.
By permitting us to measure your temperature, you also acknowledge that any service we provide can be refused if you present with a fever (37.5 degrees Celcius and above).
If you do not wish to have your temperature measured, please DO NOT ENTER OUR PRACTICE.
As of 26 March 2020 until further notice, we will only be taking card payments for our services.
Please be assured our charge policy has not changed. Most services are bulk-billed. For more information on our private charges or more information on our COVID-19 precautions and protocols, please call our practice on 02 9586 0833.
